Australia’s total ICT spending is projected to be US$66 billion by 2013, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8% over the period 2003 – 2017.

Within Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services category, as percentage total ICT spend, Australia is second only to Japan (19.2 percent) in the Asia-Pacific region.

The consumer sector is the largest, with total forecast value of US$22 billion, followed by financial services (US$6.5 billion), and Telecom (US$5.1 billion).
