Start of a new era in computing – Microsoft Windows Azure

Microsoft has finally announced it’s cloud computing platform at PDC ‘08. I found a very good introduction to the technology on Channel 9 from Manuvir Das, a Director in the Windows Azure team at Microsoft. A Software Development Kit and CTP version has also been made available at Windows Azure’s official site at http://www.microsoft.com/azure/default.mspx
The possibilities of the new platform seem endless and I can’t wait to test Azure’s Service Platform (see below).
